Symbol of Abundance and Prosperity

According to Greek myth, Zeus, King of Greek gods, while playing with Amalthea, the goat who nourished him with her milk, accidentally snapped one of her horns.  Τo remedy his wrongdoing, he enchanted the horn with special powers so that it would provide Amalthea with anything she desired in life.  The myth is associated with the rewards of offering to others, as Zeus reciprocates multifold Amalthea’s offering of her milk to him.  For this reason, the Ancient Greeks considered it a powerful symbol of prosperity, wealth, fertility and abundance.
