The honey bee, one of the most important creatures of the animal kingdom, with admirable qualities, is endowed by nature with the power of creation.  The ancient Greeks were the first to discern the nutritional and therapeutic qualities of honey, and considered it a divine food. They even washed their hands and mouth with honey to cleanse their body, spirit and soul.
